Part 1: A customer with no pulse

The shop is open, the shelves are stocked, and the Jambo girls are minding their business. Then a customer walks in looking like she has survived three apocalypses and absolutely none of her touch-ups.

The girl in pink reaches for a broom. Her friend in lime spots the problem with this particular walk-in: “That girl has no pulse!” Outside, a crowd fills the doorway. Inside, the customer has cash ready. Apparently, even the end of the world has a beauty-supply budget.

If you have ever noticed your lace lifting at the exact wrong moment, you understand her priorities. She did not come all this way to discuss the weather.

The Jambo girls brace behind the counter as a brown-cardigan zombie offers cash and points to her lifting wig lace.

Part 2: Not brains. Lace glue.

The red OPEN sign sparks. The crowd pushes closer. The broom gets a little higher. Then the customer explains herself in four words: “Not brains. Lace glue.”

“You could’ve led with that!” is the only reasonable response. This is not a snack run. It is a lace-front emergency, and the customer would appreciate everyone calming down long enough to complete her purchase.

That is the joke behind this chapter of The Dead Need a Melt: everyone sees a horror movie, but she sees a beauty counter. The zombie has one item on her shopping list, and it is not the cashier.

The zombie lifts the front edge of her lace wig while the Jambo girls hold a broom and zombies crowd the glass entrance.

Part 3: The dead need a melt

Once the misunderstanding clears, the broom can stop doing security. The customer finds JAMBO Lace Bond Extreme Hold, the white bottle with the yellow label and pink cap. JAMBO Active, with its green cap, stands beside it on the counter.

“Finally. Something that stays down,” she says. For one very tired customer, the shopping mission is complete. No resurrection required—just the lace glue she came for.

Wig wearers and hairstylists know why the scene works: a lifting edge can steal all your attention. This fictional customer takes that very ordinary frustration and gives it an extremely unusual entrance.

The woman in pink hands JAMBO Lace Bond Extreme Hold to the smiling zombie; the green-cap Active bottle stays on the counter.

Part 4: The mysterious plus-one

Sale made. Customer happy. Surely the girls can relax now.

Then she says, “I brought my plus-one.” The crowd parts. The tall figure from the back of the line is now at the entrance, and the pink-clad Jambo girl has one observation: “We need a bigger bottle.”

Her lace-glue shopping trip has an ending. His story has barely started. Who is the next customer, and what exactly is under that hat? For now, the comic leaves the door open. Would you call “next,” or quietly turn that OPEN sign around?

The zombie holds her purchased Extreme Hold bottle while a tall shadowy figure arrives through the parted crowd behind the Jambo girls.

Meet the real JAMBO Lace Bond behind the fictional chaos

JAMBO Lace Bond is the lace wig adhesive featured in this beauty-supply comedy. The zombies are fictional; the Active and Extreme Hold products are real. The story is entertainment, not a demonstration of application or wear time.

Active is the green-cap, water-resistant option. Extreme Hold is the pink-cap option for a stronger hold. Both appear in this episode, and the zombie customer chooses Extreme Hold. Compare the current product descriptions and follow the directions on your bottle when planning your lace-front wig install.
